How we train
We consider users’ safety and peace of mind first, and thus conduct training with a focus on developing experts who know our elevators and escalators thoroughly.
Centering on our main Training Center in Japan and the TAKUMI Installation Training Center within Inazawa Building Systems Works, programs based on our global training system are implemented in cooperation with training centers at business sites around the world. Rigorous training is carried out to develop highly competent professionals.
Our training facilities in each country use actual elevators and escalators to provide training in the technologies, skills, and knowledge needed to meet the diverse needs of our customers.
In addition to technical training, education to enhance customer interaction is also given to ensure that our engineers and technicians always deliver services from the customer’s perspective, with a focus on ensuring total customer satisfaction.
Training for global maintenance personnel
The field service specialists at Mitsubishi Electric’s global affiliates and agencies conduct maintenance on elevators and escalators operating around the world, supporting increased safety and comfort for users. We make best use of our training facilities worldwide to provide our field service specialists with systematic education and training programs adapted to local characteristics and individual requests from affiliates and agencies to help them acquire a superlative level of maintenance and repair skills. Through our global network, we develop multi-skilled maintenance personnel who can service other elevator and escalator brands as well, increasing the ways in which they can help provide a more comfortable life for people all over the world.
