Once known as the Paris of the East in the early 20th century, today Shanghai remains an exotic magnet for culture and the arts but has grown into a global hub for business and finance…and is the home of Shanghai Tower.

Shanghai Tower is a distinctive skyscraper reaching high above the financial district of Shanghai, China. It rises to 632 meters and has been designed into a spiral shape. It houses several facilities such as offices, commercial facilities, hotels and multi-purpose halls, and has observation decks on the 118th and 119th floors.

The tower boasts a total of 114 elevators, all supplied by MEBS . Our active roller guide and noise reduction technologies have improved the issue of noise and vibration, resulting in increased speed and silent top-level riding comfort. And the regenerative power produced during elevator operation contributes to energy savings. When it comes to skyscrapers—and vertical transport—the sky’s the limit.
