MEBS – Retirement Services was established in 1988. The division was founded to fill the need for retirement plan administration services in Western Michigan. Over the years, MEBS has seen its client base grow to encompass all of Michigan and the surrounding states. MEBS is a full service, Independent Third Party Administrator (TPA). MEBS also provides consulting services, assisting school districts in finding the best solution for their 403(b) plans. Because MEBS is a completely independent firm, our clients can be assured the advice we give is not biased to any product or service provider. We take a careful approach in suggesting solutions that provide the greatest amount of service and flexibility at the most reasonable cost. MEBS constantly monitors service providers and vendors to ensure our clients are receiving the best product on the market. MEBS is managed by Nicolas A. Pospiech. Nic is responsible for Marketing, Relationship Management, and Technology. His duties involve product development, customer service and technological development, in addition to managing the marketing relationship staff to ensure clients are receiving exceptional field and website service. MEBS’s identity as an Independent TPA is unique in that it allows us the ability to work with any vendor arrangement that currently exists in any given plan. MEBS can work as a full-service TPA, or a “selected” service TPA, allowing our clients to choose the solution that best fits their individual needs. MEBS provides administration services to all types of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans.
