Financial Security Plans

These plans are individually purchased coverage for financial protection of a family or individual in the event of death, disability or a sickness.

Basic Term Life
This benefit provides a $5,000 life insurance benefit in the event of the insured employee’s death.  This benefit is required prior to purchasing the additional benefits listed below.

Dependent Term Life
Dependent coverage is for an employee’s spouse and/or children.

Group Joint Life
In most dual income households, the loss of income when a spouse dies creates enormous hardship.  With this plan, your employees can have affordable life insurance for both the member and their spouse under one policy and one premium.

Riders
Accidental Death and Dismemberment

The Basic Term Life offers additional coverage should the following occur:  accidental bodily injury, independent of other causes and within 90 days of accident, loss of limbs, sight, or a combination.

Seat Belt Coverage

Also, the Basic Term Life provides that if an insured sustains an injury caused by any non-commercial automobile accident which results in loss of life and the insured was wearing a seat belt, an additional sum will be paid as a result of such loss.

Short Term Disability
A weekly benefit plan for employees to cover up to 52 weeks due to disability from accident, sickness, or pregnancy.  If the disability extends more than a year, up to an additional 52 week term is available if the employee is housebound or hospital confined.

Long Term Disability
For replacing lost income when totally disabled, this benefit is one for your employees to consider.  After the 52 week Short Term plan, this plan takes effect and continues paying benefits monthly.

In-Hospital Indemnity
This plan is crafted to provide employees extra dollars while hospitalized.  They can select a pre-selected amount per day, for each period of confinement, for up to 365 days of inpatient hospitalization.  This is in addition to other insurance coverage the employee may carry.

College Fund Benefit
Providing the opportunity for a child to reach his or her higher educational goals, this benefit supplies financial support for the college years.

Survivor Income Benefit
This provides financial security and peace of mind for a surviving spouse after the death of an eligible spouse and/or children.
